tube webbing bridge question

Bought another sitdrag that came with 6’ of tube webbing. Watched several vids of guys tying water knots etc. my question is this, if I leave say a 4” tail, would it be advisable to sew that tail to the strap so it can’t come loose? This webbing is pretty slick

With 4” you’re probably ok, though you’ll want to inspect it. That said, I’ll always support someone wanting to sew the ends like you say.

That seems to be the consensus. I was reading another thread on this last night can't remember which one. But most said a long tail should be fine but sewing may not hurt. Only thing is if you want to adjust and re-tie your stuck undoing stitches as well.

If you google saddle hunter.com webbing bridge you will find some threads on the same topic.

I made a removable webbing bridge and stitched the tags but I cut them short after I stitched it I think 4” would be alright without it I never had issue with my tied on webbing bridge.
