I am going to be using my turkey vest to pack all my saddle gear this year. Anyone else doing the same or has done in the past? Ive seen some threads in the past but wanted to open it up to see what people were doing at this time.

For me the Turkey vest makes sense because it has all the pockets I need as well as being able to throw things in the back of my vest with ease (stand, sticks, bow). My vest even comes with a build in thermacell holder.

Sometimes you have to tell 'em more than once to get 'em learned up proper.

I used my turkey vest a lot last year. It’s an older real simple vest. I think it’s works great for saddle hunting.

I actually have a Lone Wolf brand "Wolf Pack" vest that was sold by Lone Wolf as a treestand carrier. Its like a turkey vest but with attachment points for a platform and sticks. Then there is also an added benefit that when you get to the tree. The vest is designed to turn inside out and strap to the tree giving you full access to all your pockets as well as a nice padded back rest. I use it to carry my saddle setup and the padded backrest makes for a sweet knee pad. Here's what it looks like. vest 1.JPGvest 2.JPG

Yea that pretty sweet you use that for saddle hunting. Way to use everything you got for other purposes.

Dang this looks about perfect for what I need! Having a hard time finding it online tho :(

Yeah, they are slick. Haven't been made in a few years. I think that XOP has something similar without the vest portion but I haven't had the chance to compare them.
