Two screw ups today

Morning hunt I missed my step coming down and slid three feet down the tree. Scared the crap outta me.
Now I hunt some new sign and mis judged the tree height. I'm stuck with a weird set up and this funky crotch. I don't want to move because the deer are super active right.now. I just set up and had three different bucks come by already. Had a doe and spike ten yards when on the ground.

Sounds like you are in the right tree. No way to get on top of that limb?
 
This is a good tree to SRT into. Than I can get higher to where it goes straight up again
