TX5 Questions

Looking for a little help here. First, does anyone know if or when they’ll be taking orders again and when his website will be up? Really interested. And can someone help me out with the separate seat options. Opinions on which is more comfortable between the stretch and the expand. Thanks

Can’t comment on availability, I was on a 2 month waiting list & he was spot on with production/delivery. I chose the the stretch vs. the expand. My thinking was the knock on my flex & that design is the pleat flops open & you have little control over it. It’s all or nothing. Where the expand just fits whatever your build is...... can’t say enough good stuff about my TX5 or Matt if your on the fence just get one you won’t be uncomfortable!

I don’t work for TX5 but know some people that do. When I ordered mine last fall I was informed that the expand is no longer an option moving forward. Again just word of mouth stuff but that may have changed since then.

My understanding is bigger things might be in the future for TX5 and availability.

Hope so I really really do as I have decided to wait for a TX5 as my HOURS and HOURS of research continuesly brings me back to the TX5 mostly because I'm a very large framed wide hipped man and TX5 seems best suited to my requirements

Have contacted Tim both here and by way of his Facebook page multiple times over the last 3 months and have been waiting for an opportunity to order a saddle hoping to order one later next month.
No legitimate reason to be in a rush now as bow season is 9 months away but I hope to get it by early summer so I have using it down stone cold long before mid October

Monitor TX5 on Facebook, he previously announces there when he will open up orders again, when that time is posted be ready to respond you want on the list. Now that may have changed, not sure.

Good things come to those who wait! Matthew is a busy guy and this is not his only profession. He refuses to take $ and hold it too long and will not over commit to orders as others have done in the past.

This question is the guys that already have their TX5. Have you tried the Latitude Method? Can you do a comparison? My research brings me to these 2 saddles.

I've not tried the method saddle, but can tell you the TX5 is my favorite out if all the rest.

I had a method and it was nice but I constantly found myself adjusting it. Have a tx5 coming in a few days.

I ordered one on the last batch. The expandable saddle was not an option at that time. Like the others has said, watch his FB and Instagram for updates on when they will open orders. Then just be ready. I submitted within 15 seconds of opening and I was like 24 on the list.
