I've been thinking about a sub 1 lb platform. This doesn't quite make it but I can make a 6 inch platform next. This will give me a chance to practice my aluminum TIG welding skills, if I currently have any. :D Primal platform as shown 2lb 6 oz. - Helium cambuckle strap 5.7 oz which I was going to use with this.

Is a sub 1 pound platform possible? Maybe carbon fiber. I seem to remember something posted on SH.
