Ultra-light, Ultra-compact, Ultra-cheap Gear Hangar!

I used all of the buzzwords, they may not all be true but it's close enough.

In my search for a cheap and compact gear hangar my first stop was AmSteel, and while it has it's uses It was not for me.

I am a big fan of friction hitches so I used a some paracord, and some smaller paracord to make a gear hangar of my own.

The loops for gear are just pieces of paracord that are 2/3 prussiked to the main line so they can still slide a little.

That's what I use too. You can eliminate the metal clip used to secure it around the tree with a quick release trucker's hitch.

Interesting take, I used one of the super cheap ones that weigh nothing and even if i hit it it barely makes noise. For me the simplicity is worth the minimal risk. But I will certainly keep my eye on it to see if it causes problems.
