Sorry, our season is over and have been battling a sinus infection, so cabin fever has me thinking too much. I noticed that while taking antibiotics, there are zero body smells or bad breath possible due to the bacteria elimination. Has anyone ever intentionally tried low dose antibiotics for short period - say 2 weeks during the rut? Would need the pee bottle for sure with the smell it creates.

Funny you mention that. While I have never intentionally used antibiotics for hunting, I have believed I noticed a reduction in "some" bodily odors (farts and poop) when on antibiotics for an illness.
Maybe just a coincidence or maybe I was mistaken, but I THOUGHT odors were possibly lessened when I was on antibiotics.
However, antibiotic abuse is a problem. Odor reduction is not a reason to take them.

A good bee smoker goes a long way towards ;covering up human bacteria that causes odor.

I've been meaning to try the bee smoker but went the Scentlok route so I need some more crap lol

I have heard and used chlorifil tablets taken over a period of time will reduce body odor.

I tried some Nullo brand chlorophyll tablets one season several years ago but didn't notice any benefits.

My experiences are that smoke does work to reduce and cover odor and chlorophyll works to reduce body odor.

With smoke, deer smell something and go on low alert which means they either eventually settle down or just walk away. Hardwood chips work best according to the scent smoker research.

With chlorophyll, I have noticed some brands that work better than others and you have to make sure you’re getting the right dose per day because each brand has a different dose per pill. I like Chlorofresh brand and think the liquid works best.

Taking antibiotics in incomplete dosages and timeframes can help perpetuate resistant strains of bacteria. I don’t think this is wise...

Not wise at all. Ever hear of MRSA? Look it up. Also taking one kind of antibiotic does not kill all bacteria, hence the need for more than one type of antibiotic. I have to be on the verge of death or losing a body part before taking antibiotics.
