Versa straps used as rope mod and aider

I was tinkering with my mini versa straps on my beast sticks. I saw someone post they used them as they would the rope mod, it worked pretty dang well. I just wanted to make sure this was safe and I’m hoping some people could chime in on this.

I’m also thinking about using one as an aider, anyone try this and if so how?

@Nutterbuster has a video using the cam buckle strap from the new LWCG sticks as a rope mod. Seems like a versa strap would work much the same way. With regards to an aider, guys have used climbing daisy chains, but I can't speak to the versa strap, specifically.
 
Gregg, how are you using the 4th as an aider? Pulling strap back through one of the daisy chain openings for foot loop then same for top to hook over stick?
