Hey guys,

I am looking for a vest backpack to wear pretty much the moment I leave the truck, going up and down the tree, as well as during the hunt. I noticed on Wild Edge homepage the guy in the background image is wearing a pretty sweet bag. Does anyone know the manufacturer of that bag? Or have any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance all!

I'm not familiar with that pack, but if you want to check out one with the backpack in the rear, I've been practicing with the knight and hale run and gun 300, very satisfied with it so far, I cinched the shoulder straps up tight and it has no interference with my saddle, it is small and light but has plenty of pockets in the front for the essentials within easy reach, the integrated backpack is small and vented to allow air flow , it has molle straps on one side where I put a pouch to hold my carbon fiber bolts, and a pocket in the rear that holds my Doyle's gear hoist perfect.

Some guys are using turkey vests.

Canada hunt gear has an interesting option as well. However it’s blaze orange.

Awesome idea. Just what I was looking for. Just placed one on order. Thanks !! Plan to modify seat to use on tree in place of wearing knee pads

I'm on the fence between the pack rabbit chest back or a multi pocket bino harness (AGC Hybrid with max pocket).

The options listed above look really good. If you are looking to go a bit more minimalistic, you may want to consider the Hill People Gear Heavy Recon Kit Bag (its a chest pack). Super modifiable, and would be perfect if you prefer to carry a handgun on your hunts. Would also triple as a sweet fishing pack and a turkey pack.
This company turns out top quality products made in the USA. I have a HPG backpack called the Connor, that is everything i wanted in a pack, and it is awesome. Trust me and the many others that say their stuff is worth the money! Might be worth looking at some of their other packs too if the recon doesn’t suit your fancy. Here is the link to the Heavy Recon: https://hillpeoplegear.com/Heavy-Recon

There are some knock offs on amazon too for less $$ but i have no experience with those products.

Another vote for Hill People Gear. I have the Runners kit bag, Tarahumara, and Umlindi. All three are exceptional bags made in the USA by FirstSpear. Super well built, rugged, simple, and multi function. They may cost a little more up front, but it’s well worth it. I’m hard on my gear and plan on keeping it for many years.

Thanks, guys! I ended up getting a pack rabbit. I'll post back sometime during the season to let you all know how I like it.

Thanks again, everyone!

I'd love to hear how you like it, if you can shoot with it on in saddle. I'm looking at it hard and it's not a bad price.

Hey guys - an update here on the pack rabbit... it's a solid pack and will continue to use it throughout the season! My only hesitation with the bag is how painful the process of putting it on is with late-season gear because of the cross strap. I also wish there was a hook so I could hang it up in the tree. I end up hooking it up by the shoulder straps, so not a big deal.

I am starting to take a look at using a binocular harness to get even lighter. I noticed this bad in a background image on Tethred Nation site - any thoughts on who makes that bag?
