Video - Some updates on my JX3 Hybrid System

I have about 40 hours of hunting in mine this season. No deer but I have had some very close calls. I hunt with a long bow so they have to be close and mature bucks are very wary! The width of the seat fits my 5’ 8” and 200 pound frame but a 18” version would work for me and provide the additional clearance so I don’t have to lean out as much to pull my long bow back. The length, front to back, could be about 1 to 2 inches shorter so my legs could be more in front of me. Maybe they could offer a version that has a seat 18” wide and maybe shorter by 1 or 2 inches?

Any questions just let me know! Loving this thing more every time I use it!

I am looking into this jx3 option as well. I am 5’11” 170. The skinny would definitely interest me as well. I am already concerned with the bulk as it is. I usually wear my saddle in and have a pack on my back.
Are the bags you show in the video available or did you have them made for you?
I have saddle hunted for 10 years and this would be a nice addition for the rut.
I will be following closely to see where this goes. I email the company yesterday asking for some info on this subject, but I really don’t know what my expectations are for an answer.

The bino case is just a Cabela’s one from ten years ago. The bag on the back John made for me to test with the new saddle. I made one myself, by just hanging a cheap backpack on the hook and tying some shock cord in the corners. It works and is really easy to do. But the bag he had works perfect and has the water bladder. I’ll see how far away from offering something like that he is.

I hunted with the normal size last year, and honestly it’s just me picking nits. It works fine, but I know it can be better, and John senses that too. Don’t be afraid to buy the normal size.

I'm real interested in the jx3 because I do mostly presets in the rut when I'm sitting all day. The jx3 would allow me to use screw ins to climb and screw ins for a ROS.

Couldn't watch the video at the moment, but will later. One question I have is how hard is it to add layers while in the jx3? I try to walk in and climb with minimal layers. Sit for about 20-30 minutes and cool down. Then I'll change socks and layer up.

I can't agree more. Thought I wanted to wait to see how the skinny would turn out but I just got my regular hybrid and it's really not that overwhelming size wise. I'm 5'11" 170.... on another note, I do have one complaint. This thing is crazy comfortable!!! I can seriously see myself accidentally falling asleep in this thing. Considering I snore like a freight train, I may never see another deer.

Hey Kyle,I am one of those short guys and also hunt with trad bow thinking the skinny might be better for me also.im 154lbs was wanting to know if the bottom of the seat is gonna be shorter from back to the fork. It would definitely be better for me if it was 2 in shorter with my stubby little legs
