I was sitting in my saddle the other day, and got tired of not having anywhere to put my water bottle. I found an extra gear tie lying around, and came up with this genius idea. I’m sure I’m not the 1st person to do this, but I bet not all of you have ever thought of this. Anyway, it’s cheap easy, and very convenient. Hope it helps a few of y’all out.

Grand Idea. You could market those!!

You guys taking disposable crinkly bottles into the woods? You’re a saddle hunter. You should be drinking the dew off the leaves of the tree you climb and snacking on the bugs that are crawling around.
First time you chomp a punkin seed, you'll want a bottle of water.

SmartWater bottles have a good cap on them and they work great with my Sawyer Squeeze that stays with me whether working or hunting.

Solid idea, I like it. I’d have thought with the amount of packs having the water hose spot and holder most of us would use a camelback but seems like I was wrong and many stick to a bottle of some sort. Good tip!

I like to use a bladder for scouting and big hike days putting out cams but hunting season is pretty much just a bottle, either a smart bottle or a body armor.

Camelback for the win. I take a minimum 3L with me and on the early season days my 3L camelback plus nalgene or 2 depending on how long I’ll sit. I know it’s common for people to not drink enough water but when someone hands me a bottle like that I say thanks for the sip. I’d have that thing killed getting ready at the truck lol and like someone else mentioned, of all the bottles they have now that thing is the zaps chip bag of the bottle world I see you like the live life on the edge lol

lol, nice!

Hydration is a generational thing. My son raises cane about how little water I drink. He’s like you (Fit-Ness-Monster), has to have it continuously. I remember THE water break we got at football practice, folks today would die, lol. There was a series of hose pipes running from the school, across the parking lot, down past the football field and to the practice field. There it was connected to a PVC pipe with holes drilled in it squirt out a little bit of water. Coach Cartee would open the valve to let the water start coming out and put his finger in the stream of the first hole. This was SC and the water was scorching hot, lol. As soon as the cool water hit the water break was over

ETA: I drink plenty of water, just not continuously.

I'm partial to Powerade, myself. Always have at least one in my pack. They make an entirely serviceable urinal; just don't confuse which bottle is intake and which is discharge.
Or just dont pee in a bottle. Dont let'r rip where you are going to let your bow or pack down though.

Before this post I hadn't once thought of this. I wondered how much urine is on the bottom of my back pack. Then I remember I wear it down and had a sigh of relief.

I hate the taste of straws of any sort. I typically use better bottles, but that’s all the mom and pop grocery store had. It works on any bottle out there. It’s a universal mount, somebody could patent this.
