Don't like the looks of it. I agree with justsomedude on the overhand on a bight.

IMG_1234.JPG That still looks odd. You want your webbing as flat as possible and you are cutting it close with the tails. When you leave crossed angles in the knot like that, it will definitely settle. And depending upon where the bulk is, it will pull the tail into the knot

Here's a shot of both sides of the knot.

It is still not right. It looks like you have the tails coming out at 2 different angles. They should come out the same way like on justsomedudes knot. Also I just want to point out with the sit and drag you will only be able to attach this directly to the sit and drag on one side, you'll need a carabiner on the other.

And even when I tie it on one side how do I double the webbing up again to tie it on the other side

That one looks a lot better to me. And that is what I was talking about in post 9. justsomedude says you can do the retrace overhand on a bight to tie both sides.

This ole slow country boy is beginning to get it...I do think I need to order a longer piece of webbing to try the different lengths of bridges though.

Sometime in the early hours the secrets of the Overhand on a Bight Retrace were mysteriously revealed to the ninja (just kidding..I got it before bedtime)....unfortunately the length of bridge that I came up with was approx 24" which I have found more comfort with the 36" The length of webbing that I ordered was 6' so I guess I need to get a 8-10' piece so I can have enough to try varying lengths which is one of the reasons that I wanted to try this in the first place. Thanks for everyone's help and being patient with me.

Got the bridge tied and it looks to be around 24" this was with a 8' piece. I guess I need to get a 10' so I can experiment with longer and shorter bridge lengths.

If you go to REI you can get a 30' piece of tubular climbing webbing for around 10 bucks.
