Has anyone ever purchased anything from Western Rivers Outdoors? How is their service?
 
Just in brief before I forget to get back here -
1 hunt, went with rope instead of the included strap. Had some trouble I think with the rope not getting as tight as I might want and had to stand on the tube and hook the platform with a toe, resetting it. But when tight I was pleased. Size is good, adjustment bolt gave some flexibility. The different top stand off didn’t seem to make any difference in stability. Took side pressure without any issue.
Tested in the yard with the included strap and it got tighter and stable faster. Going to try Amsteel and see if that works as well or at least better then the rope.
I have no experience with other platforms, going from the hawk helium tree seat to this was a huge weight and stability upgrade.
