What’s in the bag?

This is everything I take with me into the forest. The only things not pictured is my knife, extra clothes and food/water. I’m getting the ridge runner platform for Christmas so I’ll be dropping a couple more pounds. Right now I’m probably under 10 pounds but I need to weigh everything. I just got the drill and only practice in the yard so far. I was using lone wolf sticks. They were great but still pretty heavy to pack in with a platform.

Are you using the 2 screw in steps as your ring of steps? I use bolts. Also get a few extra grade 8 bolts. I found them at Home Depot.

Otherwise it looks very similar to my stuff. Is the saddle an all strap saddle? How does it feel?

The screw in steps are to hang my pack and bow. I’m using a platform to stand on. The saddle is a new trophyline ambush lite.

There are a lot lighter options to hang your bow and pack that work just as good as those steel steps. Paracord and carabiner - I bet you probably already have some laying around / bow hooks are $.97 each at walmart / tree straps usually under $10 bucks on amazon and big box stores. Those bolts and drill are complete game changers right!!
