So on a whim, I picked up a Samick Sage off of Craigslist for $50. I've been meaning to pick up another pack of BHs, so I need to an excuse to buy enough stuff to get free shipping, and figured I'd get stuff to start learning how to shoot the darn thing.
My list is currently...
1) Lighter Limbs: The bow currently comes with 55lb limbs, which I get the feeling would be inappropriate to start with. My short DL (~26") means that it's probably closer to 50lb but still... I'm thinking I should pick up a set of 40lb? It looks like the guy installed the limbs in the wrong location (top on bottom and vice versa)
2) Bow stringer
3) Bow square
4) New arrows: I'm assuming the 330 spine arrows I have for my compound would be too stiff, especially if I get 40lb limbs. Seems like 500 is a good starting point for just range arrows?
Anything else I should pick up?
