What Are You Wearing? Best Winter Clothes For Saddle?

Can you elaborate? Let’s say it’s 25 degrees no rain or wind. What excactly would you wear? No long walks either.
The sanctuary set would be ideal for short walks in cold weather. You would have to leave the leg zips open all the way to keep from sweating. I'm very picky about clothes when spending 250 bucks on a piece and then having to baby it in brush on even short walks to the stand. The fabric isn't very durable....some folks dont have a problem with it..I do! Along with the fact it isnt windproof or water resistant. Again, I'm picky, and clothing at that price point should be bulletproof imo. While the FL stuff is well made I've just found a better way for me for the same money!

For last maybe 10 years I would buy new clothes to try each year never totally satisfied. This will be my third year with my Sitka system and everytime I put it on I’m still impressed. I have no need or want to try anything else at this point I just add to the system. It’s expensive but if you buy wisely
via used and wait for deals can save some money.

What system did you buy? I was thinking of doing merino base with a thin fleece mid layer and a sitka jacket and pants. It only goes down to around 20-30 in the coldest times.

I’ve got Stratus bibs and jacket and the shacket. I wear couple different weight merinos depending on temps.

In a pant you gonna get cold. Gonna need bibs in those wheather if your still hunting. Think about when it gets down to those temps what are the wind chills gonna be?

With a set of heavyweight merinos as well as another long sleeve shacket and Stratus set I’ve hunted into the high 20s. Was I toasty warm no but I made it work. I’m thinking of upgrading to the Celsius midi which packs better than the jacket as well as a fanatic vest which I can go over my Stratus jacket.

I wear a merino base layer and cabelas insulated pants with a vest to the tree. The pants zip on the side I unzip them wile walk in. Once in and cooled off I zip the pants up and have a insulated jacket I wear from cabalas. My vest is a heated vest if I’m cold I turn it on low with the jacket over and merino under it I stay warm. I also wear a primos( it think that’s the brand) arm sleeve to keep the jacket compressed on my shooting arm. I have a beanie and neck scarf. With this set up I sat in the trees last year at 20-30 degrees and was fine.
