What does your 2021 system look like?

Saddle - Kestrel with a webbing bridge
Climbing Method - 5 WE Stepps with a JC Knaider
Platform - will run a Predator sometimes, 5 Squirrel Steps on an OCB other times
Bow - Hoyt PowerMax #67, fixed single pin sight set at 27 yards...it's tuned and broadheads fly true.

Everything is looking great so far guys! I've already made one change before the season. I'm dropping the stand alone homemade platform. I built another platform for the top of my hawk stick.

Latitude method saddle w 2 Amazon dump pouches, tether, linesman (canyon IV/Prussic/tender BD biners. 3 cut hawk heliums with various aiders (Black diamond and fixed amsteel 2 step, again I’m still figuring it out), EWO daisy chain webbing mod. Running predator XL and ridgerunner, and OOAL scout mounted on a 4th stick, still undecided, will probably keep 2 of 3.

PSE drive next w qad rest and stock sight. (New this year) 460 total arrow wt w 100 g grim reapers, spine aligned paper tuned, etc. no time/$ this year for the FOC rabbit hole maybe next year.

Loud Amazon tactical pack and little bear, not thrilled with either pack. Can’t find a great, quiet packing config.

Considering doing rappelSRT presets next year and optimizing that helium/OOAL for non presets. That solves the packing issue, fits nice in the little bear.

Well like I said things are going to change through out the season. I now have 2 systems that I alternate between (thus far)! Trophyline Ambush Pro is my go to saddle but I have my hands on a Covert lite that I'm testing this season. My first set up is the cut down Hawk Helium's single Amsteel aider on each with a home made platform on the top stick. Climbing with Oplux lineman's belt with a schwabisch hitch and tender. Hanging with a Resc Tech tether and prussic hitch. Coming down with a separate 35' length of Resc Tech and a figure of eight. Collecting my sticks on the repel down is super easy, I have found. The second setup is one sticking with a one stick I designed, testing it out this season. The rest is the same referring to the ropes and repelling down. Anyone else changing things up already?

Are you happy with the restech for rappel? Torn between that and Canyon IV as a newbie to rappel. The CIV has more mechanical device options, easier to srt if I ever go there, but bulkier.

So far I ain't looking back, I use it with the figure 8 and can't be happier. No need for all the fancy mechanical devices. I can use the figure 8 to get down and I can add the schwabisch hitch, carabiner with a loop to go back up. No problems gripping and my autoblock bites nice to make the decent very smooth.
