What is your favorite saddle? ...and why?

Could you continue to use the H2 with no problems? I could use my sit drag and be absolutely fine.

Oh yeah I have no need for a new saddle honestly! H2 is comfy to lean or sit in with how the bridge adjusts and seems durable enough to last a few years at least

1. Jx3 hybrid - it does all the stuff all the other saddles try to do, better.

2. Kestrel - it does all of the stuff all the other available saddles try to do, good enough, and will last forever. None of the rest do anything for me that’s worth making a switch.
So pure curiosity, don’t disagree....... the OP says you gotta pick 1 forever. I loooooooove my JX3 & use it regularly, but I still prefer the freedom of movement that my Kite provides if I HAD to only keep one. How bout you??

Probably the hybrid.

Kestrel/Popup - 7lbs
Hybrid - 10lbs

I average 15-30lbs of gear. a 10% reduction in weight is not enough to keep me from being comfortable. I have had an instance where I couldn't shoot a deer because of how I set up in the hybrid. I corrected it immediately. Since then, no range of motion issues. The kestrel I could hunt in all day if it was what I needed to do to kill a deer. the hybrid I WANT to hunt all day if needed. There's a big difference - and I assume its the difference between people who stick with saddle hunting and those who don't. Every body type/appetite for pain is different.

There are also some trees I can hunt with the hybrid, that I couldn't with a minimal saddle (severe leaners, heavily brushed trees).

I’m glad I DONT have to pick one!

#1 AH Kestrel Flex - leg buckles are always attached unless I'm taking on/off the saddle. I just like the attachment points and the comfort.
#2 TX-5 Expand
#3 TH Recon
#4 Tethrd Phantom
#5 Tethrd Mantis
I have not tried any others - have a Guido's web, but not a "saddle" IMO

Cruzr XC and JX3 Hybrid... If I had to pick one... I think I’d take the Cruzr for maneuverability. But it’s really hard not to the love the JX3. Plus John and Donald are cool as 2 cucumbers.

I'v only sat in my diy, mantis, and jx3. I like my diy 1 the best, jx3, then mantis....

The mantis was constantly sliding up and I would have to readjust pretty regularly. The jx3 was very comfy but to expensive for me and I felt it limited movement as opposed to traditional saddle. My diy saddle rides up also but I only adjust 2-3 times a hang as opposed to the mantis I had to adjust 2-3 times an hour. I'm sure there are better options but I cant justify spending that much on a new 1 when the 1 I got works perfectly good... if I was to buy another 1 I like the looks of the metal free latitude method but never sat in 1
