What Lighted Nock do you prefer?

I’m using nocturnals on my arrows and they can make your arrow fly different if your bow isn’t tuned well but once tuned well I see no difference. I’ve tried lumenoks batteries went dead very quick from the slightest bit of contact to the prongs and I had to sand a lot on them to get to fit my arrows. Tried nock out lighted nocks good concept to have a practice mode they shot very well didn’t like the sleeves they came with to fit your arrows never had one fit just right. Also didn’t like how far the stuck out of the arrows it made the overall knock very weak. Tried nocturnals twice and now im shooting them again. First issue I had was blood inside the nock that wouldn’t come out made the circuit short in one or ran the battery down and the second one shorted it where it was always on but really dim and ran down the battery over night. Of the 3 I like the nocturnal better for the price you can’t beat it but the firenocks seem to be top shelf quality for top shelf price. Hard for me to justify spending firenock price on a lighted nock that I may or may not find once’s i shoot shoot an animal.

You should nocktune every arrow anyway you’ll never have an issue

Also just because you nock tune with your regular nock and mark the sweet spot doesn’t always mean you can throw another nock that weighs another 10 grains More and it fly exactly the same. I’ve gotten lucky a few times but just the other day I had to slightly tweak a arrow to get it back right. So always check with lighted nocks too.

Why wouldn’t you shoot the arrows you’re hunting with? You nocktune with your arrow setup ready to go into the woods

This is from what I did I nocktuned before lighted nocks because the shop was out and once he got more back in stock I put them in and Renock tuned them with lighted nocks. Of the 3 only had to just very slightly adjust 2 of them from my original markings.
