What pound bow and arrow weight and broadhead you guys using for traditional bowhunting?

Multiple Hill style longbows 62”- 66” (JD Berry, Sunset Hill or Northern Mist).

R/D Longbows 54”- 60” (Big Jim, Black Widow).

47# - 56# range
Arrows - Douglas Fir Surewood Shafts
Broadheads - Grizzlys, Ace & Simmons Sharks - Glue on - 530gr - 650gr range

Prolly 300K plus arrows over my lifetime have worn my shoulders to where I shoot lower poundage now...I know that's a lot of arrows but I did the calculation and that may be a conservative number lol (150 arrows avg per week x 40 years)......

Started out with 55 lb bows in the mid 1990's (compound bows before that)- now I know I should have shot less poundage and would have shot even better and killed just as good lol - anyway used everything from the big snuffers to Simmons tree sharks to Woodsmans and everything between with no problems...

When I went down to 50 lbs I shot the same broadheads as above with no problems.

Not hunting with trad as much right now due to shoulders and letting them heal so not shooting enough to hunt(shooting a 40 lb compound this season) - but hopefully I will be back 100% soon - but the last buck I shot with trad was in 2016 with a 40 lb longbow - VPA 200 grain 3 blade - and got two holes....

All these bows I shoot around 500 grain arrow.....

With these setups I have killed whitetail deer, hogs and turkey....

62”, 60# Kimsha longbow. 29” Gold Tip 55/75, 100 grain brass insert, 170-200 grain Broadhead.

64”, 64# Mohawk Sparrowhawk....same GT, tapered Douglas fir, or 2219 aluminum.

My arrows are right around 600 grains.

I have a 45@28 St Joe classic, double carbon.

Easton Powerflight 500, full length, ethics outsert post/sleeve system, 200 grain point. 576grains total.

Also a 50@28 Kalamazoo Bow Works Manistee longbow.

This bow shoots full length Powerflight 400's, 50grain brass insert with 250grain point...596grains total.

I'd use both rigs for any animal in North America.

Bear Kodiak Magnum 50# 28"
Beman 400 classics ics
Tuffhead 300 grain
Total weight around 630

Asbell Bighorn. 70#@29. Easont 2216 xx75 @ 31.5. tuning right now and will either be shooting high precision 3 blades, or bear greenies without bleeders. approximate arrow weight for each will be 575 for the greenies, and 630 for the HP.

Shoulder has been acting up a little, but seems to be ok so far, but if its not feeling hot:
64" brown recluse flat bow 50# @ 28
32" POC shafts with bear greenies-total weight right around 560

All else fails, I go to my screamer....
