Yessir! Been doing it for years. Sounds silly but it makes a difference. Small one, but I take what I can get!!! The only ones who didn't make fun were Bill Winke and Fred Eichler!

Lol!!! Bill isn't that nuts but Fred is! Some people - not me - shave more than that. No blade near the junk, that's my motto.

I trim my armpit hair, but not for hunting. My pits grow so wild I can't get any kind of deodorant to the skin if I don't. I don't run it too short, 1/2 to 3/8 is what I do mine at. When I first started doing it, my pit hair had gotten to almost 5 inches long....

I am curious as to what different scent free deodorants that y'all use and recommend? I have used several different ones over the years but have a hard time finding one that will last on an all day hunt. I live and hunt in East Texas so I almost always break a sweat!

Dead Down Wind this year for me. Used it in August in Michigan, humid and sticky day. Worked great.

I tried to buy some on Amazon but you must have got the last one, it said it shipped but never showed up, eventually, I got a refund, and I tried finding it again and just gave up, I've got 2 sticks now, no point in buying another.

The crystal can be found at most drug stores or Wally World. I have it in the roll on and the spray.

Shave it all off, human hair is the biggest culprit to getting busted from human scent.

John Eberhart preaches it too, laughs about guys having big beards and face paint to look cool, but they can't figure out why they get busted every time.

Why stop there.....shave it all off. If hair is a big contributor to scent.

That should be a SH tradition. Remove all body hair the day before opener and keep it off until success or season end. (Eyebrows excepted)
