Im about to buy a Tethrd Predator XL. With my sticks I use 1/8 amsteel daisy chains with 1.5 inch loops. Was wondering what size loops works best w the Predator?

I think mine are about 1.5”. It’s a regular predator but can’t image they would be different.

I have both, regular is 1.25" circle, XL is elliptical 1.25" on long axis X 1.00" on narrow axis. Long axis orientation is parallel with the post (or tree trunk).

So 1.0 should work? I have that too.

I was quoting the physical dimensions of the button face so you would have some idea how large of a loop you would need to capture them.

1.5” loops works well. That’s what I have made mine in the past, usually mark the Amsteel at 1.75” where I splice and the loops come out right around 1.5” finished.
