Alps Outdoor Hybrid X has been great this season. Very versatile. Great for someone who is done dragging deer like a jerky.

Have a few fanny packs from seasons past. This year its been Silent Reaper. Have a bandit on the way to try out.

Anyone have experience with the Mystery Ranch Front?

An old digital camo Camelback is my largest pack. I think it is an older model Motherlode. It has a substantial waistbelt. I use it for "late season" which isn't that big of a deal in North AL.

I have the ALPS Outdoors Pathfinder Pack.
I like the versatility of the pack so far as I have been using it for the last month.

I have not packed out a deer with it yet but that is the main reason I bought this pack.
I am a little concerned about putting the quarters from a medium sized deer in the meat compartment.
I'm thinking they will need to be totally deboned to accomplish that but maybe the pack will surprise me.

I hunted all year with just a fanny pack. Probably should have taken a backpack a couple times to carry my coat in so I wouldn't over heat but packs are a pain. Have a small backpack for if I hunt with a platform but I never used it this year.

Eberlestock X2. Works perfectly for me in every way.

KUIU PRO6000. Compresses down to nothing when the extra capacity is not needed, is light and extremely durable. Also it is designed to accommodate an extra 2000+cubic inches which I have done packing elk meat. By far the best pack I have ever owned. IMHO out west having the ability to carry a large load is a necessity.
