Where my dogs at?

This might be my all time favorite thread. Y'all's dogs are awesome!

While I've had lifelong allergies, I've always been a dog-oriented person. We took a chance on a PWD 8 years ago and it has worked out great. She is the light of our life. In fact, my wife often says if we got the dog before we had kids we might never have had them!

This is Frankie, our 13 week old beagle pup. He has had a rough go of life but I believe he’s going to be a great tracker! Contracted parvovirus at 10 weeks and spent 8 days under medical care. Vet said he was the sickest dog he’s ever kept alive. He’s already cost us a ton of money but he’s pretty much part of the family.

3 of mine. All rescues. The left is Nina a yellow pitador ,middle is Missy a red nose and she is stupid as he** but I love her to death, last is Pepper he a staffordshire chihuahua mix. We recently saved a Great Pyrenees/Australia shepherd. He’s a huge baby. Don’t have any pics of him handy though.

This is Lucky. He's a 12+ yr old pure bred treeing walker coon hound. He likes hot fires, laying in the sun on hot rocks, and solo adventures through the woods when he gets off leash. Runs like a greyhound and has a nose the leads him miles away at mach speed. He'd be a great hunting dog if he wasn't afraid of gun fire. He's a rescue dog and was severely beaten and starved when we got him. They used to shoot him with a bb gun if he barked.

He's a great dog with tons of personality. It's amazing what he went through the first 3 years of his life. He let's my 1 year old climb on him, grab him, bite him.
As you can tell he loves getting his picture taken. This is his "mona lisa" pose.

Omg that poor dog, I'd like to chase those bastards around with a 22 and shoot them in the ass each time they made a noise. I'm glad he eventually found a good home.

Link, the terrier mix dog I posted was a rescue from somewhere in Texas, he was in a kill shelter at 4 months old, and he is such a happy, loving dog.

We call him link because it looks like he has long pointy ears that remind me of the Link from the Zelda games

You and me both man. He's got all sorts of scars. He's also scared crap less of the sound of a MAP torch clicking and running, so I'm pretty sure the bb guns were just the tip of the iceberg :-(

I have one of those too. Unfortunately mine is the wife's buddy and I think he has her sense of direction. She can get lost 25 yds out of sight of the truck. We went camping this summer and in the 10 minutes it took me to get the camper unhooked that dog took off, no where to be found. After 2 hours of me ground searching, and much near panic from the wife I found him about a mile out and heading away from camp about a 1/2 hour before dark. He was definately lost and very happy to see me.

Ours got away one day and after driving for ever, knocking on doors, yu name it we drove by a house probably 8 miles from where we lost him. Heard his signature howl. Looked over and he was in someone's open garage with a rabbit cornered. The homeowner was a little confused. He's getting older now, but when that nose takes over its all done!

This is Zilla. Pure German Shepherd but DDR/Czech blood lines (dark color, smaller build) and a "plush" coat (long and short hair simultaneously), so people always ask what mix she is.
She likes antlers, squirrels, and Tom Brady style slightly deflated footballs.
