Who else Ordered a Wild Edge PERCH ?

Not yet still waiting for my WE stepps to come. By the way not to hijack but anyone who has ordered the WE stepps did the get any kind of notification emails confirming their order. I have an order number from when I ordered but nothing after that.

Great choice.... lol...

Does anyone using Amsteel have concerns over this?

"We are constantly testing the strength of the SteppLadder due to the fact that it continues to amaze us everytime. We compared our SteppLadder rope and ¼” Amsteel blue rope. Our rope has a tensile strength of 3,000 lbs while Amsteel is said to top the charts at 9,000 lbs. Both ropes were spliced to the Stepp the same way and tied the exact same way. After lifting the front of the 8,000 lb excavator off the ground, our rope finally snapped on the back side of the tree. It is important to note that it did not fail at the spliced or tied ends of the rope. The Amsteel rope slipped away from the tree where the loop is tied before the weight of the excavator could be fully applied to the Stepp. This is more evidence that there is no better rope out there for the Stepps than what we currently offer!" Awesome Video.

I did receive a confirmation email when I ordered on Jan. 12. It included my order #, shipping/billing info, payment info and order summary.
I received an email today that my order is processing. Should have them in about a week! By the time I get them, it will have taken the full 12 weeks of their 8-12 week delivery time frame.

Thanks did some searching in my Gmail account for some reason it was in with spam.

This backorder situation must be pandemic across a myriad of businesses because I have orders placed with 3 different sources and everyone of them has notified me that the items are backordered. I might understand if these products were being outsourced (China etc) but the majority are being made domestically. Companies must be keeping bare minimum on inventories in an attempt to keep profits up.

o too, I cant wait to never

I know that Amsteel has a much slicker finish than the original WE step rope(anyone know what that is?). I wonder exactly how they had it spliced.

It didn't fail at the splice. It failed at the hitch that's looped around step. It fails because it is slick and slips. Amsteel is not made for hitching or knots. It's made for splicing loops.

Ordered the perch with a 10-pack of steps and vertical lineman's belt.

With my Badlands Ascent I should be able to pack everything with room to spare.

I just got my notification that my Perch has shipped and end of this week Mark's exactly 3 weeks! Spot on with shipping estimation and hopefully things are getting caught up. I noticed that they are saying 6-8 weeks for shipping on their website. Yihaaaaa!

I have checked twice today with no luck. I did procrastinate though and ordered on day 3 of the deal though so it may be a few days yet.

I got my notification last night. All perches were to be shipped within 3-4 weeks. All other orders would be 6-8 weeks out!

I did find it funny though that I received an email earlier this week asking me to review the Perch. Just wish I had one to review

I got the same thing about a week ago...I found it puzzling as to why they would send that out when u have been waiting weeks for your purchase to arrive with no updates??? I didn't feel that was a good move....just my thoughts.
