Who would you rather hunt with?? Infalt or Eberhart? Just curious!

I know OP was trying to limit the choices to the original 2 but seeing as how other names were thrown out I really can't believe Andy May or Tony Peterson haven't been mentioned. When I saw the name of this thread my first thought was Infalt hands down. I just can't stand Eberhart's scentlok shtick. After reading through the responses I'm not sure I can really decide between the 2 but I'm sure they both could teach me plenty. I'd much rather hunt with Andy or Tony though, sorry OP.

I'd have to put on my waders and head out with Dan. I'm too scared of heights to spend a day with John up in the Air Traffic Control tower.

But jokes aside, both are obviously tremendous hunters who have given our community a wealth of knowledge and information. I'd probably lean toward hunting with Dan mostly because he reminds me of my late father.

Remember when they all came to PA and had a dose of humble pie? Not so easy when the DPSM is like 3. You can hunt every edge, thicket, swamp, clearcut, creek bottom and everything in between and not find a big buck for weeks. Couple that with having a state limited season that takes half your weekend days away.

They both have shot an absolute ton of deer but nothing they preach is a revelation. Hunting beds, scrapes, rublines, thick cover... I started doing that in the 90s myself but I dont have the time, access or the big bucks to have the walls they do. They spent every waking moment thinking of deer. I spent every waking moment from about 15-30 chasing women, fishing, motorcycles, bowling and more in addition to hunting and just enjoying other aspects of life.

You guys dont give yourselves enough credit. You all could be equally successful if you did nothing else in places of opportunity. The big question is do you really want too? I dont.

I wouldnt go out of my way to hunt or hang out with either. I dont like their personalities. If I could choose someone to spend a week with it would be Aron Snyder.

Ever notice in the photos that a majority of their big deer were shot in the 80s and 90s? Ill let you in on a secret, the 90s were unreal in the archery woods. Virtually no one was doing it even in PA. I cant imagine a place like Wisconsin.

Did John hunt PA? Dan and his buddy ran into a nice one. I seem to remember the challenge lasting only like 4 or 5 days; all in all it wasn't a poor showing imo.

But trophy hunting in PA is better now than I ever remember before, due to regulations.

On the whole, I agree with your sentiment.

After drinking it i had all these pondering philisofficals about it.through time space and multipule dimentions, deep into the breeding of my own bloodline and to the roots in wich the water of life flows and saw my philosifications.and it said unto me. if wiskey was perfect..........it would be scotch
