My measurements are on @TNSTAAFL,s post above. The raw board pic has all the measurements. Here it is installedView attachment 9790View attachment 9791

Ok cool. I see the dimensions now. So you cam the step over and then slid the platform in? Does it have the ability to move? And is the only thing keeping it from falling just the two supports in the corners? Thanks.

Lol! One of my all time favorite lines from one of my all time favorite movies!

Thanks for pointing that "wearing" out. Interesting thing is that the board in that picture was a prototype that I never hunted out of nor did I even install on a step other than a few times at ground level to take those pics. Maybe I climbed once and installed at height before @fbwguy figured out the no hole version.

Remember, never go in against a Scicilian when death is on the line!

Just so everyone knows, it was not me that came up with the design for the insertable step. I just ran with the idea. It has been fantastic though. All the input, ideas and improvements by the guys on this forum are incredible. Coming soon to a posting near you, my Carbon Fiber insertable platform!
Are you just messing with us? Sounds pretty sweet, how much does the 3/4 inch plywood one weigh?
