Anyone who has experience the "bending", how did you fix it? I don't want to have to use the climber in a pinch but I might have to if I can't get up the tree
 
Just bend it back. Keep an eye on it for your own peace of mind, and maybe use it closer to the ground if it sets you at ease. It should be fine.
 
camming it in. I'm pretty sure that the ropes were on the right side tho, so not sure exactly how it happened.
 
They bend all the time just bend them back. I imagine you can bend them thousands of times as long as they don’t get a kink in them.
