Anyone use a ladder type aider with the wild edge steps? If so like what brand and what’s the best attachment points? If I could get 5-6 feet a step that would be my ideal. Pic for an example of what I am talking about

I know people using etriers, but not ladder-style. I personally use a knaider/swaider setup for about 5' per each... Although I think The Sladder is going to overshadow the use of the WEI Stepps.

I’ve also thought about this, but on the longer aiders I use I like having the vertical handle, so I gave up on the idea

That sladder looks really slick!

I made this out of 1/4" dyneema winch rope to use on a Primal step. It was an experiment in one sticking that I've moved on from.

This is not an aider…..but our very own @boyne bowhunter made a video that might be exactly what you are looking for! It’s something to think about. Have fun and be safe.

Long aiders can be pretty squirrely. When I was messing with the Primal steps @boyne bowhunter's modified Cain method was what I settled on. You get about 3' per step and it's a lot safer than the aider.
