I have a Bear TD Hunter recurve that was bought back in 1989. The limbs are 60# at 28, just too much bow now after medical issues. This bow was only offered with 50, 55 or 60# limbs and they are extremely hard to find. I have seen on here several members talk about wharf bows using Sage limbs was hoping the Sage limbs might fit my riser. Would like to go with either 40 or 45# limbs. The 60# limbs on the bow are approximately 40 mm wide and 15.875 mm thick at the bottom of the pockets. Any information will be appreciated.

Theoretically if you get 50 Sage limbs you’ll end up 42 to 46 ish because of increase in riser length you’ll be in the ball park and will kill deer all day long but it depends on angle of said riser vs Sage riser which I wouldn’t worry to much

Thank you very much. That was the weight range I was hoping for.
