Hey All! I'm Jake and I'm from SE Wisconsin. I purchased my first saddle last fall (Tethrd Mantis) and hunted with it throughout last deer season and I can say that I'm 100% hooked on saddle hunting. I was even able to harvest my personal best buck last year out of a saddle! I hunt a mixture of private and public land in my area. I'm still working on improving my saddle/mobile hunting setup and I look forward to gathering as much info as I can from this group.

I created an account on here last year, but wasn't really active on the site. I'm hoping to become a more involved member of this community! I'm always looking for fellow hunters in the my area to chat about hunting with, shoot the bow with, or even just grab a beer with. Feel free to reach out!

I'm in Racine. Have a couple of friends locally that are saddle hunters as well, and met a few others from the area on here as well.

Sounds like there might be a meetup in August in the Oconomowoc area, i believe. Everyone I know personally in the area are all new to saddle hunting (including myself) so we're all learning together.

Awesome! I would definitely be down to meet up. I’m not too far from Oconomowoc. Keep me posted on the dates!
 
Welcome from another SE Wisconsinite (Sussex). I am planning to do a saddle meetup / demo day at Sherwood Forest Bowmen on August 28th during their annual Bowhunters warmup open house. Come on out for some saddle time, lunch and shoot their 3D course. Reminds me that I need to get a thread started for the meetup.
