Women and saddles - how to pee?!

I don’t know what part of the country your hunting in, how many layers are necessary as the season progresses, or your saddle but I suggest just climb down. Safest and less potential for mess.

Visually clear the area before climbing down, lower your weapon if you think it necessary.
But just climb down.

This is what my wife uses but not the wish version, also she hasn't used it yet while out of the saddle but I imagine it would work......

Can't beat that for a solution. I started peeing in a jar and throwing the urine away from the tree since I lowered my pack in the puddle a few times and my truck smelled for a while. Now, nothing.

no camo water balloons?

I dont. For me its about how much I drink, and when..before and during the hunt.

And I hate to tell yall, that plastic thing is worthless in a stand, much less a saddle, at least for me.

It's been mentioned, but I'll repeat as it was my first thought: rappel down and SRT back up, the whole process will take 5 minutes and be noiseless.

I realize this is probably not going to be a very popular topic in a predominately male forum :grimacing: (and also somewhat embarrassing), but if there are some women out there with any advice I’d love to hear it.
I recently purchased my saddle setup and am trying to figure out how the heck I will pee on stand. With a wider platform (treestand, climber) I can easily widen my stance and use something similar to a go-girl/she-wee without a problem or mess. What are you girls out there doing for saddle hunting? There has to be some females doing some long enough sits for this topic I’d think. Thanks! And sorry guys haha.
I guess you could attach your lineman’s rope along with your tether, loosen or remove your legs straps so that you can bring the saddle up enough to lean out and let it ride? Or maybe just get a 2 panel saddle and bring the whole lower assembly up or down? Ok I am out of ideas!

Advice from a guy here:

A 2 panel saddle is probably the winner for women for this purpose. You'll just have to arrange the 2 panels and disconnect the leg loops to move clothing.

For a 1 panel saddle: If your saddle belt is up over your hip bones and tight (I would work it down under my layers so it is less likely to slip), you should be able to disconnect leg loops, unweight the saddle and then flip the bottom of the saddle up your back (inside out). This will keep you from having on loosen and move your belt.
I second this whole post

My wife says look into a “she wiz” it is a woman cupping funnel that allows you to go #1 and it’ll funnel out the side or front similar to a man. If it isn’t an option for you, she says climb down pee then climb back up because it’s the easiest safest way. She’s been saddle hunting for 3 seasons now
