Worst fear

Well that was hard to watch, and I didn't expect that from the thumbnail.

Add that to the list of things to look for, especially in early season.

I'm mildly allergic and need to re-up my epipens. Thanks for the reminder.

I would have swan dove in to that little puddle of water like it was the Olympics
Having been swarmed by yellow jackets and red wasp, I could feel all the suck he was tied up in. Fortunately, I always had my feet on the ground and could get away quickly with relatively minimal stings compared to what I am sure he got.

Way way back in one of the remote swamps I've been in, the deer cross heavily in the one corner. But it's nothing but trees 1-4 inches wide. There is 1 perfect Oak in the middle that would cover most shooting lanes.

Right in the middle of it where the tree forms a Y is one of the biggest bee hives I've ever seen inside the tree. You can hear them a long ways away buzzing there's so many.

Safe to say that tree is theirs

Sounds like you need to hit it with a flaming arrow

I was amazed at his presence of mind to actually climb down. Maybe it was that they were honeybees and not wasps. Anyway, I hope to never find out.

Honey bees are tolerable, but I’ve been literally incased in a ground hornets nest (fell into a huge nest in the side of a levee) and I’m not allergic but was stung enough to make me pass out at 14 yrs old. Luckily dad and buddy were close. It was misery.
I imagine misery is an understatement having been in some bad encounters myself.
