Would you hunt these conditions?

i've always said the best time to hunt and fish is every chance you get...

Of course that's somewhat steeped in both humor and truth. The reality is if you pay attention you'll learn something worth learning every time you get out there even if the conditions are far from ideal. Bottom line is fish and game have to earn a living every day regardless of what the weather channel may be barking about. So get out there and get after it.

I'm in SE VA. Not much below freezing temps yet. We really won't see those temps until Jan/Feb timeframe. This is a snapshot of the last few weeks.
Still, anything like 15+ degrees in shift (warmer or colder) is worth trynna find time to hunt IMO.

My pops used to tell me a story about a club member that killed a 140-150” buck he had been after for years on a day like that when they all stayed in the bed. He was mad as hell too. Hunting is hard work, but when you roll the dice and land in the right place at the right time? Priceless. If you got a wild hair and want to get after it, then I’d go.

Thanks guys...generally how I was feeling too (not good odds). I'll still go sit for a couple of hours since I need to move a camera anyways. Sunday weather is much better (cooler) but no Sunday hunting allowed at this particular spot.
Good decision. If I would have asked a similar question on the forum the first week of November, when the weather reached 74 degrees on 11/4, everyone would have said "save the vacation day, go to work, hunt another day." I am glad I didn't ask the question here - or listen to all my hunting buddies who told me I was wasting my time - because I shot a nice buck that morning. Hunt smart. Hunt hard.

Ended up hunting right at end of the rain today….decided to sit in the saddle since the wind forecast was completely wrong. Didn’t see anything until I got down and packed up then had a set of eyes staring back at me from across the field. They should be moving tomorrow. 17 degree drop between high today and tomorrow.

Just a reminder tomorrow is bow only. (The way these seasons jump around, especially after adding Sunday this year, easy to stumble into an unattended ticket.)

Can't wait to get the bow back out. Love late season!
