X-Stand Mantis climbing stick review

I asked on here awhile back if anyone had tried these Mantis sticks and didn't get any replies, but picked up a set anyway.

These sticks are lighter than they look, a little loud (getting rid of the buckles helps an expanding foam in the hollow tubes) and have no moving parts (which I like). I put some shrink wrap on the ends of each tube where they nest together so they are quieter to carry. These stick are super solid on the tree, and stick way off the tree, so I use the top steps for my platform now, and it's really comfortable. I will probably use a step aider on the bottom step and just carry two sticks in the woods. That's the only downside, they aren't easy to carry. I made a sling for them, and haven't had any issue on my last couple hunts carrying three sticks around. Just thought I'd leave a review of them in case anyone might have thought about a set.

I've looked at them before..... They look beefcake strong but not very modification friendly. I like welded....only 1 bolt to fail.

I carry three sticks, or two with an 3-step aider on the bottom stick. Both options usually get me 12'-14'. Most of my hunts are in timber, and if I get higher than that the canopy blocks my view, so it works out.
