What's the better seat to order for a platform? Is one stronger or better than the other?

Most including myself are using the Xop. Both are essentially the same design but the xop is easier to modify if my understanding is correct.

Lonewolf is 20 bucks higher in price. Other than that I don't see a huge difference. I was just wondering if one seemed stronger than the other or had less flex when standing on it.

Exactly what I'm planning on doing. Does it have a steel insert where the platform bolts on?

Get the XOP Hand Climber and you have a platform and a climbing system, probably cheaper too. I put a strap around the tree to help hold it on better and allow me to lean on the side, seems to work well for me

Sorry the extra strap doesn't go on until I've reached hunting height.

If you want a new one, XOP or Lone Wolf is your best bet. If you have time and can be patient. You can find them on Craigslist and classified ads. That's how I found my first Lone Wolf seat.

XOP took that stuff off of their website. They put up new products. Hopefully they haven't stopped offering parts

The brackets and the seat is currently on the website.
