Anyone shooting an Expedition Archery bow? If so, what are your thoughts on them pros and cons and which model?

Looks like they have a couple models, have gotten accolades and from what I can find folks seem to love them but being fairly new, out in SD while Im in FL I cant find any local dealers to get my hands on them. For some reason they sure have me curious.

Shot them For several years now. I freakin love them. I have a new xcursion 6. Pm me I can contact you to a very very very good dealer

I know many people that love them. I personally don’t like their cable guard and for whatever reason don’t like the sound of them. But they seem to be gaining a lot of traction.

I have one and love it smooth fast

Absolutly love my Xpedition 6. Very accurate, fast, and actually I find it quiet ( I am shooting about 560grain arrow). I don't think it's super smooth but can't really ask for that in a bow that shoots that fast.

They seem awesome. How long have you had it? Have you shot a lot of arrows with it and if so, any difference between the 10th and 500th? Thanks for your input.

I've had it for a little over a year, and I shoot probably around 30 to 50 arrows a week on average, and I haven't really noticed any difference over time. One of the two only "complaints" I've had with the bow was the grip. I used to shoot a flat grip, like you see on the prime bows, and had the same bow for almost a decade before getting my xpedition. Long story short I got used to shooting a very specific grip and the slight curve in the grip made consistant placement on the grip difficult for a little while. That said I've gotten to a point now where I almost think the grip placement is more consistent than I as before because I can feel the pressure changes on my thumb more with the curve. The strings on the bow are higher quality than most seem to come with stock, I still havent changed out the strings or cables. I havent noticed any real wear on the cables from the ATR (their cable slide) despite thinking I would see some there. Still planning to put better strings on in the future but life has gotten in the way as of yet, and the stock strings are completly servicable. The only other "complaint" i have is that my protable press doesnt really work on the bow. Because I went with the Xcursion 6 it's way past parallel, and my press wasn't meant to go past parallel. That said I dont think you can really go wrong with their bows. They seem to be very consistent, well built and after you get to know your bow it balances well in your hand.
