I used 550 paracord, quadrupled over, to hang hammocks in two of my kids rooms this past Christmas and the sheath has started tearing all over the place. They only weigh about 60 and 70lbs but I'm sure they shock load it quite a bit by jumping on it or sitting with a friend. Don't see any damage to the internal cord but will further examine when I cut it down. I'll be replacing with some Amsteel.
