This is a 7’ strap. So the 6’ will be a little lighter and the 8’ a little heavier.

It would probably work with the Predator but not very well. The Versa strap will have a larger loop (needed to get over the button). This larger loop would have too much slop when used on the Predator. You would basically have to have the perfect sized tree every time for it to work right.

Also keep in mind that climbing sticks don’t require camming. The camming effect and loop size are what’s critical for the Predator.

Hmmm... Seems like once you slip the loop over the Predator button and push it down, prior to camming it over, it should work the same...

I think what he may be trying to explain is that if there is to much loop you have to push the post down to far and then when you cam over the platform the proper tension is just not there. I have a PREDATAIL and I know why a larger loop that would work on a versa button wouldn't work on the Predator unless the tree was perfectly sized. It is what it is. I think if you had one in hand and tried it out you would have that ah ha moment.

I’m not saying it won’t work. It just won’t work consistently. Im a stickler for tolerances Lol!

The Versa Strap will have a small piece of gutted paracord stitched into the end. That way when you grab it from your huge pile of disheveled gear, you automatically know which one you have. Let me know if you guys prefer a subdued color, like pictured below, or if you would prefer a brighter color like blaze orange.

If the Versa Strap is to be used on a Klemz platform will it allow for the cam over consistently?
 
So this is replacing the preda strap, or is the preda strap renamed to the Versa Strap?
