    You can also put some reflective tape in front of the nock. Then go out after dark with a headlamp. Cheaper than lighted nocks.

    Sometimes they make a huge direction change at the last spot you find any blood, or even back track. Gotta keep on the blood trail if at all possible.

    I found this pinch point in NH where a deer sighting is the exception and not the norm. I hunted it three mornings, and have seen deer every time.
