Haha I hear you Dave!!! I was in the same boat as you last year scouted a ton but could not get on em' as I have before. This year like you tons of life events new job, wife battling cancer. Its been a struggle with little to no scouting, lots of blind setups. So I feel you on the situational aspect but it only takes one deer, one time my friend. Either way we will all have some fun getting out and doing what we love. Lol Red I'll take a DaveT (i know thats not how it works) but you get were Im going!!! Best of luck Dave

Didn't know about your wife - I will pray for you both. I have been down that street with my own family a few times. Yes I am looking forward to exploring a lot of new to me areas and seeing what I can string together. I never join the contest for anything but the comradery and jesting.... it adds to the season IMHO

Thanks Dave she is doing well and is a fighter. x2 on the contest!! Its all about fun and the brotherhood we all have. Its fun to raze one another and act like there is a million dollars on the line lol.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought a years worth of bragging rights was equivalent to roughly a million dollars in the hunting forum contest world...

So, when you look at it that way, there is pretty much a million dollars on the line!!! :D

That's funny, I was in text with him last night reminding him of this very thing. He said he would try to log on but he has many irons in the fire these days. Perhaps he isn't gonna make it this year.
