I love the tether set up. The climbing method is a bit aggressive for me (although appears quite safe). Can you answer a few questions?:

1. The delta link is just there to save you from having to loop the whole tether through the eye every time you go around a branch, etc. Correct?
2. The stopper knot just serves the purpose of not having the tether slip down when unweighted?
3. What's the "sleeve" you put on it....what's the purpose....quiet?

No problem man!

1. You absolutely got it! The delta link is for going around limbs if necessary and so I don't have to pull 40ft of rope through the eye initially.
2. Bingo again! The stopper knot keeps the weight of the delta link from undoing all the hard work you put in to work the tether up the trunk. IT IS A CRITICAL bit that will help you maintain your cool when one sticking. https://saddlehunter.com/community/index.php?threads/quick-link-stopper-knot.25610/
3. The sleeve is called a friction saver. It helps protect your rope as you work it back/forth/up/down a tree (read: it lessens the absrasion your rope experiences).

I'll be doing another video later that explains all the tether/rappel components a little better.

@Red Beard how are you putting the rope into that water bottle holder? seems to come out nice and free of tangles
Welp... I started with a rope tarp, then went to a rope bag, and then found out that the same principle for using them applies to a small pouch as well. The process is almost too simple to believe. Just stuff the rope in the bag... don't try to coil it. Give it an odd fold and a little turn every time you grab a handful of rope and put it in the bag.

The reason it works with such a great amount of rope (40ft) is due to the suppleness of OpLux. I couldn't get away with packing the same amount of HTP into a pouch that size.

Wow man...thats pretty frikin slick. Hard to believe many of us were carrying 20lbs+ just in climbing gear/treestands alone before finding out about saddles and new climbing methods. Makes hunting that buck wayyyyy back there seem possible. Hauling em out is another story.
