Beast sticks vs all others?

Just curious, does anyone know if these are made in the USA? I don't see that anywhere on his site.
No. Some in China and some in US. The sticks would cost 2x more if made entirely in the US.

my understanding from the long forum posts on the hunting beast, they are made in the USA
probably why they are so expensive and only come in very limited supplies
not sure why the marketing material does not capitalize on this unless they have plans to go overseas eventually

No. Dan is quite open about it.

"Made in China and USA" pasted on the product probably isnt good for marketing.

agreed about the marketing

I've read just about everything about his products and somehow missed his openness about the China part
could you point me in the direction where to look
maybe the hardware is sourced out of China like almost all of it we can buy, that wouldn't surprise me
thanks ahead for your insights

This is one of many posts. You can find more on the forum and on the facebook page. I highly doubt you will successfully work around dan and source the parts direct. This is custom work. Business doesnt work that way. You may be able to some day buy spare parts directly from dan but that day is not in the near future. He cant keep full sticks on the shelf very long.

thanks

I do remember the stick extrusions being chinese, but I think all the machining is still done here
with everything being outsourced and the dismantling of our manufacturing here in the USA
outsourcing raw products from China is not surprising, I don't think you can't get around that much
thanks again

I like the packability of these sticks better than the lone wolfs. This has been my favorite setup yet. Unlike the new lone wolf custom gear full length sticks, you can set your stand on the ground no worries.AC300567-AB24-4A42-809D-A26CCD5F0020.png

if you tried to go through our southern forest with 24 inch sideways on a pack you'd get hung up on everything. I like a folding double step best and I carry mine vertically on a pack or in my hand.
I hear ya. It’s not perfect, but I walked around some WV woods and it’s not too bad. Before I ran the Lone Wolfs up and down and I got snagged a lot ducking under branches.

thanks

Dumb question but what is an extrusion?

Dumb question but what is an extrusion?

Melted metal is pushed out the end of a “die” in to a desired shape.

I work in plastic extrusion. Plastic is mixed to make the desired plastic characteristics of the finished product, fed in to a extruder which is a barrel with a screw inside. The screw turns and pushes the melted plastic in to the die it comes out in a solid sheet that’s immediately cooled by a chilled roller then through a series of rollers it is slit to sized and wound on to a cardboard core. We make the stretch film you see on finished goods pallets. Aka when you walk in to Walmart and you see the pallets in the isle ways they are wrapped in a clear film? We make that.

I also work in extrusion (chip bags and recycling) and I doubt you can get the shape of the stand off from extrusion just the overall block to machine it out of. So itll still need to be machined.

I believe he stated either on the forum or a facebook post that he couldnt even find a company willing to make the antler bracket in the USA.

I wish the stand-off was farther out. I wear a 11.5 and feel it’s not far enough away from the tree because they dig in so much. The helium’s seem to have more room for sure.

I would imagine the die is shaped like the standoff and cut off to the proper width. Probably comes out in 10 foot lengths and cut in to 1/2” widths. Just looking at my muddy standoffs.
Or injection molded. I doubt because of the saw looking marks on the sides of my muddy standoffs.
