Climbing spikes

For you guys who have stealth stripped your Spurs... how much material did it require? I'm trying to figure out how much to get.

Are you hunting with them on? I suppose strapping them to your platform or something else? I keep mine in the pack. That might be a good option?

No, I take them off at height, but that sure is a lot of bare metal to clang together on the way in, or when hanging on the backpack...

I used 2 rolls of the macknett camo form tape. Its like 15 bucks a roll , on ebay. Non sticky, works great on wrapping your spurs.

Yea, I used green vet tape from amazon. I have to touch it up periodically but it does the job.

I got 2 sets made for the LW climbing sticks. Used one set for the sticks, and after covering the spurs and countless other things I still have a bunch left. It's great stuff. You'll find a use for all of it

How much can I expect to spend on a pair? Wonder if Farm and Fleet has them.
