I will be climbing either one stick method and/or with my LWHC this season. Both which introduce a lot of slack in my tether. Im 250 lbs, if I have a kick out or the LW fails, that is a lot of force on a RM1 which it is not rated for. Will it happen who knows, but I owe it to my family to not push that envelope. Therefore, I am switching to a more safe method with a distel hitch using the beal jammy for my tether. Hopefully it tends as easy as a RM1 as the LWHC method requires me to adjust at least twice per tether move. I shall see. Also, is it a sickness if you use your safety/family as an excuse to fuel the S.H.E.M.S.?
