That site just links to amazon FYI, they don't actually sell them. The company who sells them is weird. They list the climbers, climbing belt and a saw as the same item with different prices. The climbers haven't been on there for months.https://huntinggearsuperstore.com/p...g-spikes-gears-for-cutting-trees-cement-pole/

They are actually way better than you think. These are far from perfect, but if we could do a DIY version they would be an awesome mobile hunting tool.Ok I gotta say it ... these things are ridiculous. I am not interested in carrying these awkward, clumsy, flimsy looking whatever they are through the woods. If these were the only way to climb a tree, I would stick to ground blinds. These are a step in the opposite direction from the small compact, light ideas that we usually see on here. But seriously I do not like them.

Hey Red... Do you think these are worth trying. Will you ever use yours.Innovators waste the most money take the most risk so early adapters can take less risk and waste less money. Thanks Red. I like being an early adapter.

They remind me of climbing stands - I can't imagine using them with how I hunt.... perhaps for tree prepping pre/post season?
Dave, they would make great climbing methods for the smaller oaks and scrub trees in our area. It would be great for LBJ and if I could ever get drawn for Haggerman.
They certainly have a place. The idea is brilliant, but these are junk. They can be modified to be usable though. I shot my last 2 deer this year after climbing with them and I will continue to use them. I have been rappelling down after climbing with them but I'm going to practice putting them back on in the tree more. They are more limited in tree size than spurs, but I like climbing on them better than spurs. Once you set into the tree it is like you are standing on a small platform.Hey Red...
