Well last nights hunt was a rough one! On my walk in I got caught in a downpour and got soaked. Plus side of that is I got into my spot easy with all the noise. I got set up and the sun came back out and luckily my Sitka clothes dried quickly and I was fine. The next problem was the wind was coming from the E when the forecast was calling for SW. I checked two of my weather apps and both are saying something different? Lol. I did see one deer get up out of it's bed but it was so thick I couldn't ID it. At dark I lowered my bow to the ground and started down my rap line. I had taken my platform off and was holding it and my autoblock was getting jammed up. I set the platform on my lap while I worked on the line and it fell 20' and landed right on my bow!! I get to the ground and start checking things out and luckily my bow looks fine but my tight spot quiver.....not so much lol. Broke the two carbon rods that hold the hood! So at this point I'm fairly pissed off and then I go to pull my rap line down and it is STUCK. Couldn't get it loose no matter what I tried. At that point I was fuming so it stayed in the tree!! Just one of those days

It's funny how there are days like that. Happens to us all. Sometimes I sit in the tree and ask myself if this is the 1st time I ever set up in a tree. Then I pray no one was watching! Lol

Well, I gotta hand it to Tight Spot quivers. Called them up and explained what happened and there's a new quiver on its way today! Can't beat that kind of service.

Yep. Good to know if something happens you are covered! They are expensive but I think they are the best out there!

Hey Brother, what part of WV do you normally hunt? I'm there every November for a week, primarily in taylor, doddridge and Ritchie co. Lots of deer, bigguns mixed in occasionally.

My main areas are in Marion co but I also hunt in Roane co some.

Sorry for the long delay in video. Wife was gone all week for work and squashed my hunting/video editing time taking care of the kids. Here's the video of my October 10th buck. Video is nothing special, it happened so fast I didn't even get the camera out!
