Just made a hammock.
Super easy DIY. Tarp is gonna be a little more tricky but that's next.

That's awesome!!! I just got mine out for the first time this weekend. Three days of pouring rain and It worked flawlessly. I am really hoping to bring a hammock to saddlepalooza.

Bug net done. This was my practice hammock so it goes to my oldest. Now the other 2 want one. I'll be a pro by the time I do mine! Lol

I'm itching to get out and use mine. I was going to go for a night over my vacation but of course the day I could go was when the thunderstorms were rolling through. I wasn't driving 2 hours and hiking to the top of a mountain to camp in a thunderstorm!

Who made your cuben tarp for you? I've been looking at the superfly but would like cuben in the same shape. You mention that your tarp had doors?

It's the Hammock Gear 11 foot standard cuben tarp with doors. Love, love, love it. Hammock Gear has a great reputation for customer service as well.

They got some new material out that's lighter than silnylon without the stretch. That's what I'm making my superfly out of.

I would not give up my Treeboat for anything. I use it on the ground as well as 150' up. Bomber! We took a staff picture with 8 people in it

Both of those stores have DIY kits and plans. That's kinda what I followed and watched many YouTube vids.
