I went with the Ronstan RF5011 medium cam cleat.

Shouldn't have a problem. I am the same way with all of my gear. I have used them for 3 seasons now and knock on wood no failures.I go about 245 bare naked. By the time I get all my winter gear on I'm probably over that 275 weight limit.

Haha have been thereThats funny. Although I am not sure why you would wear running shoes hunting. The teeth on the steps are quite jagged. I am sure you could do something to smooth them out.
By the way if anybody decides to stealth strip the hawks I would not recommend removing the steps as you will spending a lot of time in confession at church from all the swear words from trying to get the inside washers back in.
Can you explain or share a photo of how the other end of the rope attaches to the stick? They are Ronstan cam cleats, and total weight per stick with the rope and mods is 2.9lbs. I am using 1/4" amsteel for the ropes. I stack the middle one upside down and it balances out perfectly.

Man, I totally forgot. Sorry. It's just a s8mple not, but I did put some heat shrink around the somewhere it goes through the stick to help out with the aluminum not cutting the rope. It had worked very well.Did you ever get those pics?
I forgot to mention that I made the knot small and you can pull it to where it seats inside the walls of the climbing stick so the knot is not on the outer portion of it.Man, I totally forgot. Sorry. Wow, just noticed my grammar was terrible on my fist reply. Guess my fingers got to going too fast.I forgot to mention that I made the knot small and you can pull it to where it seats inside the walls of the climbing stick so the knot is not on the outer portion of it.

These are actually Harken cam cleats. I had some Ronstan ones that I used somewhere else.Any idea which cleat that is? I see ronstan has many different sizes and variations. C’s T’s Small, medium, larges... they look pretty slick.

It is actually dipped. I ordered a kit from mydipkit.com and did them myself. It is not hard to do but you need to find a big enough container to dip them in. If I were doing it all over again, I would find a local dipping company and let them do it. You should be able to find results under 3d hydrographing.@Chase0089 can you explain your camo spray paint process? It looks really good.
