Is a Saddle for me

I like the Ikeman saddle and chaos saddle. Ikeman does the plastic help prevent the saddle from pinching your sides

I believe @ken1320 made the first Molle saddle. I based mine on his design.

And yes, the interior plastic helps quite a bit. I really never experienced hip pinch at all. There is a separate plastic piece on the back that I would leave on as well. Ken cut his off and he said it reduced the stiffness of the belt, causing a little pinch.

Is this Ikeman that I was speaking with on TBH today?

Would it be better to use 1" webbing as a bridge or 10mm accelerator blue water?

For a bridge, I have liked it more since I switched to a 1" climbing spec webbing.
I wouldn't trust just any polyester or nylon webbing at 1", I would specifically look for a high weight approved one.

I'm looking to buy a black.diamond harness, 50m of (blue)bluewater accelerator rope, 20 ft of both blue and red climbing webbings, 4 locking biners, and 8 non locking biners. For 50$. I was going to order my SD. Just pre-thinking What I wanted to use for a bridge.

Is a SD much more comfortable then my make shift saddle to practice shooting with?

is that how you are still rigging your bridge? If not, can you provide more detail?

Yes, but those knots are NOT safety approved. Those were just overhand knots to decide on a length. I used the "overhand on a bight" for my actual setup. That IS safety approved, and has shown no loosening in 2 seasons.
Edit: here is my bridge. It is probably a little too short, but I can easily compensate with my tether...

Yes, it will be significantly more comfy than that.... but that's not saying much lol.

I know just helps practice before I have the "gear" to practice

My SitDrag is incredibly comfortable. However, I'm a small guy 5'7" 165lbs. I could see how someone larger than me might be uncomfortable.

My SitDrag looks a lot like Ike's.
